Within the scope of the project, required documentation will be prepared, on the basis of which the foreseen infrastructure will be built to restore navigation according to Class IV. The project will also enable preparation for the future co-financing of relevant works on the waterway within the scope of Structural Funds. The project is financed through the IPA III a component of EU regional development, with the estimated project duration from May 2013 to January 2013. Two major concerns are to be resolved within the scope of the project. Those are limited water depth/width of the fairway resulting in restricted vessel draft and sharp river bends which limit the length of convoys or prohibit two-lane traffic.
