Osijek: The results Pannonian Tourism project presented

The participants have passed ten training programmes, namely 240 hours training including theoretical and practical classes. The programme included drafting and business plan development for touristic services for rural family touristic farms.

Moreover, joint Hungarian-Croatian website www.pannoniantourism.hu, which contains Manual for managing rural family touristic farms, has been presented.

The opportunities for the future Cross-border cooperation and possibilities for the IPA programme usage have also been presented. In addition, the agreement for future cooperation for that region has been signed between representatives of the rural tourism organizations and Hungarian and Croatian frontier counties tourism association.

With the abovementioned agreement vocational organizations would be connected in order to exchange experience, organize study visits and jointly participate in programmes promoting rural tourism development, especially concerning implementation of the activities set in the Operational programme for Cross-border cooperation Hungary and Croatia 2007-2013.

The project is worth 106.347,00 euros, of which the EU co finances 75 per cent. Project has been implemented by the Croatian Employment Office in Osijek with partners: Regional Employment Institute South Zadunavlje from Pecs, County Chamber of Osijek, and District Service Croatian Employment Office from Virovitica and Križevci.
