  • Supply of equipment: Methodology for Energy Administrative Data Management Related to EU Regulations (€ 95,000)
  • Service contract: Development of New Tailor Made Software for Web Based Energy Data Collection and Management (12 months, € 300,000)

The following results have been achieved:

–       Analysis of the Croatian energy sector, including all institutions, major companies and relationships among them has been performed

–       Analysis and implementation of best practices in statistical energy reporting – alignment of data collection questionnaires to reporting Commission Regulation (EC) 1099/2008 structure

–       Data collection process defined and established among all related subjects on the Croatian energy market

–       Software application for collecting and management of energy data developed and in operation

The project is of great importance for Croatia in the framework of the EU accession process. Croatia and the EU will soon start implementing the “3rd package of energy regulations”. Through this project, the EU assisted the Croatian administration in centralising the energy data collection and reporting process. By having this application in place, the Ministry of Economics, Labour and Entrepreneurship is becoming the central point of statistical energy data collection and the single source of truth when it comes to providing reporting data
