The expected results of the project are:
– assessment of the existing situation related to the implementation of requirements and provisions of the WFD and Directive 2006/11/EC and preparation of recommendations for the future process
– development of quality control guidelines for methods of determination of priority substances and establishment of the methodology of quality assurance and quality control of data
– improvement of the skills, knowledge and capacity of the Croatian Waters laboratory staff related to the new analytical methods and
– enhancement of the capacity of all relevant stakeholders for the implementation of the WFD and Directive 2006/11/EC
The implementation of the project will ensure that the water administration capacity of the Republic of Croatia is strengthened and that the water quality standards are implemented in line with the requirements of the EU Directive 2006/11/EC and the Water Framework Directive.
