Contracting deadline for IPA 2007 I Component – Transition Assistance and Institution Building expired on 17th November 2010. The total number of 73 contracts valued 41.75 million EUR. 36,84 million EUR is funded by European Union, which represents 92,22 percent of allocated funds. Significant savings have been realized during execution of public procurement procedure which have incurred by signing contracts valued less than foreseen by Financial Agreement. Realized savings resulted from healthy competition and have positive effects on budgets of European Union, i.e. their taxpayers.
Furthermore, it should be noted that contracts for implementation of all 15 projects foreseen by Financial Agreement signed by European Commission and the Republic of Croatia.
