The objective of this project worth 241.955,35 € is preservation of existing biodiversity in Croatia.
The results of the project are:
– Existing information system for nature protection analyzed and requirements for the development of the National information system for nature protection supervision (NISNPS) specified.
– National information system for nature protection supervision (NISNPS) developed.
-Nature protection inspectors/supervisors trained on the use of the NISNPS.
These results will ensure sustainable management and strengthening of supervision in proposed Natura 2000 sites through improved administration of biodiversity data for efficient implementation of NATURA 2000 sites (pursuant to Birds and Habitats Directives).
