The closing ceremony of the Twinning Light project “Improving environmental reporting in Croatia”
Implementation of the project started on 7th January 2011 and lasted eight months. The project has been implemented in cooperation with the Austrian Environment Agency and through support of experts from the Slovak Environment Agency.
The objective of this project was to contribute to environmental protection in the Republic of Croatia by strengthening the administrative capacity of the Croatian Environment Agency. This has been accomplished in a way that the project provided recommendations for upgrading the Register of environmental pollution for the reporting requirements of the PRTR Regulation, provided continuous delivery of near to real time ozone data from two stations of the National Network for Monitoring air quality and recommendations necessary to implement the INSPIRE directive in the part that refers to data from the environment sector.
