On Tuesday, 7th February 2017, a formal opening ceremony will mark the beginning of the Twinning light Project “Developing the Financial Literacy Programme with the aim of raising the level of financial literacy in the Republic of Croatia” (CRO FINANCIAL LITERACY).
Ministry of Finance, Republic of Croatia is the beneficiary of the project in cooperation with the HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management Ltd. as Member State project partner. Overall objective of the project is to raise awareness and the level of financial literacy of consumers in the Republic of Croatia. The project, worth € 250.000, is financed by the European Union with co-financing from the state budget of the Republic of Croatia.
Project purpose is to strengthen the administrative capacity of Financial System Sector within the Ministry of Finance, by developing procedures, improving cooperation with stakeholders as well as through raising public awareness activities. The implementation of the project began on 5 January, 2017 and will last for 6 months.
